Hi! I’m Kristyna, former elementary educator, current tutor and editor! I grew up in Helena, Montana and after being an educator in the postpandemic world, I saw a need for more tutors with a strong background in dyslexia, Structured Literacy, and math intervention. I feel passionate about building relationships with students and helping them learn, and I felt a pull to help students in a new way. I have experience working at the elementary level in general and special education, and I’m excited to use my knowledge of literacy instruction, math instruction, and individualized planning to help students academically. I am a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist accredited by the International Dyslexia Association, and I am excited to be able to better help those in the community. In addition, I have a strong foundation of editing knowledge that I’m ready to use to help others share their stories. I can’t wait to partner with those in the community to help dreams and goals come true.

Kaitlin Rye

Hi! I'm Kaitlin, Summit's math tutor! I grew up pursuing math education from the ground up, earning both my elementary and middle-level math education degrees before going on to specialize in secondary mathematics. With six years of classroom experience teaching math in Washington and Montana, I love helping students go from "I'm just not a math person" to being genuinely confident in their own ability to problem-solve. I tailor instruction to each student's specific needs, using assessment data to pinpoint gaps in understanding and translate complex math concepts into approachable, confidence-building lessons. Whether a student needs to catch up, build confidence, or get ahead, I'm passionate about meeting them where they are and helping them see that math is something they can master, not something to fear. I'm excited to begin meeting and working with your students!
